Saturday 6 November 1915 – We Lost 155
The Cunard cargo carrier Caria is torpedoed and sunk by U-boat gunfire while traveling from Naples to Alexandria, one hundred twenty miles south east of Cape Martello.
The Egyptian coastguard steamer Abbas is sunk and the Nur el Bahr disabled by a German submarine at Es Sollum.

- Private Edward George (Sussex Regiment) is killed at age 30. His brother will be killed in May 1917
