  • Private Herbert Hazzard (Oxford & Bucks Light Infantry) is killed in action at age 21.
  • Private George Bain (Seaforth Highlanders) dies of wounds. His brother will be killed in June 1917.
  • Private Frederick John Coleman (Oxford and Bucks Light Infantry) is killed at age 25. He is played football for Aylesbury United Football Club.
