Today’s highlighted casualties include:

  • Trooper Charles Le Feaver (Household Battalion) is killed in action at age 30. His brother was killed in June 1916.
  • Private John Griffin (Royal Fusiliers) is killed in action. One brother was killed in May 1915 while another will be killed in July of this year.
  • Rifleman John William Hughes (King’s Royal Rifle Corps) dies of wounds at age 24 at Salonika. His brother was killed in May 1915.
