- Second Lieutenant Cuthbert Fosbrooke (Durham Light Infantry) is killed at age 25. He is the son of the Reverend Arthur Middleton Fosbrooke Vicar of Hartshill.
- Private Herbert Victor Chapman (Bedfordshire Regiment) dies of wounds at age 19. His brother was killed in August 1916.
- Private George Pile (East Kent Regiment) dies of disease in Mesopotamia. His brother was killed in January 1916.
