Today’s highlighted casualties include:
- Second Lieutenant Ivan John Warren (Gloucestershire Regiment) dies of wounds received in action at age 26, received two days prior in a German raid at Meunier House near Poelcapelle.
- Second Lieutenant John Noel Leigh Gough (Royal Field Artillery attached Trench Mortar Battery) is killed at age 20. His brother was killed last December in Jerusalem and their father will establish the Gough Photographic Prizes in their memory at King’s School Canterbury.
