  • Captain Thomas John Jones MC (Royal Field Artillery) dies at age 28. He is the son of the late Reverend Evan Jones (Congregational Minister).
  • Lieutenant Arthur Barlow Whiteside MC (Royal Air Force) is accidentally killed at age 28. He is the son of the Reverend Arthur Whiteside.
  • Lance Corporal William Rickard (Northumberland Fusiliers) dies on service in Mesopotamia at age 30.

  • Private Alexander Forbes (Royal Army Medical Corps) dies on service at age 21. He is the son of the Reverend F W Stuart.
